Fernando Rovira- Rullán (Co-President)
A capital member of the firm Ferraiuoli LLC , Mr. Rovira-Rullan heads the firm's Corporate Department. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the UPR Law School where he has taught advanced courses on Business Organizations and Mergers and Acquisitions, for the last fifteen years.
Celina Romany (Co-President & Founder)
A former President of the Puerto Rico Bar Association, Ms. Romany has been a Professor at the Law Schools of New York City University, the University of Pennsylvania, American University and the University of Connecticut. Her publications on human rights, feminist criticism and labor law have been widely recognized and she has received numerous recognitions. She is currently in legal practice, where she has been able to combine her academic background and litigation expertise, resulting in successful novel cases that have set important precedents.
Sandra López-Bird (Secretary)
A lawyer in both Puerto Rico and New York, Ms. Lopez-Bird began her legal career at the Federal Trade Commission in New York, eventually joining Citibank, where she held various legal managerial positions in New York and Puerto Rico. As an Adjunct Professor, she has taught courses in Banking Law at the Law School of-Inter-American University. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of various institutions, including the City University of New York (CUNY), Boricua College, Puerto Rican Legal Defense Fund (today The Latino Justice Fund), Aspira, and the United States Commission on Civil Rights (New York Region), among others.
Jorge Ruiz-Montilla McConnell Valdés (Treasurer)
A lawyer practicing in the area of renewable energy projects, Mr. Ruiz -Montilla has extensive experience in the field of real estate law. He is Treasurer and Member of the Board of Directors of the Ricky Martin Foundation and Co-Director of Libertad 2018, the Foundation's first fundraising gala. He also serves as attorney for the Board of Directors of the Construction Materials Merchants Association.
Chief Justice of the PR Supreme Court, 2014-2016. Ms. Fiol-Matta is recognized not only for her career in the Judiciary, but as a Law Professor and author of numerous legal writings.
Luis Pérez Giusti- Adsuar, Muñiz & Goyco
A lawyer since 1992, Mr. Perez-Giusti’s practice focuses on labor law ,including organized labor, discrimination, hours and wages, and workmen’s compensation, representing clients before local and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies. Former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labor Relations Practitioners Association and a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the Chamber of Commerce and the American Bar Association. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the non-profit PECES-Education and Community Entrepreneurship.
Rafael Arrillaga- President of RAR Consulting Group LLC
A lawyer specializing in finance, law and public policy. Managing Partner of RAR Consulting Group, LLC. Mr. Arrillaga is an advisor on matters related to government fiscal policy. He has extensive experience in corporate, banking and securities law, as well as general litigation. An important part of his practice focuses on representing both lenders and borrowers in complex financial transactions, including debt restructuring. In addition, he advises companies at various stages of the corporate life cycle, and in relation to all aspects of the sales process. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from the University of Michigan and a juris doctor from Fordham University School of Law.
Mari Evelyn Rodríguez
Rodríguez is the CEO of March Saldaña , a current leader in insurance brokering and risk management services in Puerto Rico. She joined Marsh after an extensive career in mostly financial institutions, having served as senior vice president of Platinum and business banking in FirstBank from 2013 to 2016. Ms. Rodriguez was also Treasurer of the Board of Directors of non-profit Centro Sor Isolina Ferré.
