Process for organizations

Organization must complete the Service Request Form. After consulting the Services Catalog, the Organization will indicate in the form the requested legal and/or organizational services. The Coalition will evaluate the documents and notify its determination to the Organization.

Once the Service Request is accepted, an Agreement will be signed between the Organization and the Coalition to formalize the relationship between the parties.

When this process is concluded, the Organization will be assigned by the Coalition to an attorney from its Pro- bono Network.
From that point on the professional relationship will be established directly between the lawyer and the Organization, although the Coalition will monitor the handling of cases.

Criteria for qualification of organizations

Non-profit corporations, community-based organizations or similar entities, whose primary mission is to provide services to persons or communities with limited economic resources, or that are disadvantaged, marginalized or in some way affected by adverse socioeconomic situations, emergencies or natural disasters.

Organization does not have sufficient financial resources to pay legal fees.
The Coalition may request information regarding the economic status of the requesting organizations.
